The venture ecosystem severely lacks diversity in many ways and since 2019 the Pride Fund has been working with local, regional, and national partners to help add a bit of color to the venture ecosystem. We recognize that one of the most significant areas lacking support is LGBT+ founders and ventures, and we’ve found that by working together we can make the most of our efforts and maximize our impact in adding a bit more diversity to the venture ecosystem.
VENTURE OUT brings together entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, community supporters, elected officials and curious others to highlight and celebrate LGBT+ individuals and organizations making changes in venture systems throughout the country.
This evening is not about demoing or pitching, but an opportunity to celebrate Pride and the impacts we’ve seen in the venture ecosystem by bringing together like-minded people. VENTURE OUT is scheduled for the evening of June 13th, 2024 in Columbus, OH and falls during the week of Columbus Pride.
The event will be held at Stonewall Columbus, central Ohio’s LGBTQ+ community center, and space is limited to 100 guest.
