Meet T:
Tanisha (T) Robinson is the founder of W*nder (pronounced wonder), a company focused on creating accessible, reliable, intuitive cannabis and plant-based beverages that enhance and improve how we experience the world. W*nder CBD beverages are currently distributed in eight states, and their THC fizzy tablets ju has a social mission to re-invest 4.20% of its profits towards helping entrepreneurs who come from communities that have been disproportionately harmed by the prohibition of cannabis.
T. also serves as COO/CFO for Gotham, a female-founded cannabis concept space committed to curating and sharing one-of-a-kind products, art, and experiences that reflect New York’s rich history and influence.
Previously T. worked as the Chief Transformation Officer of The Parent Company, one of the largest cannabis operators in CA. The cross-functional Transformation Team led the analysis, strategy and execution plan to simplify, stabilize, and rebuild TPCo through instigation, facilitation, and collaboration -including the transition and outsource cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution – which generated significant margin improvements and saved the company over $30MM in annual operating costs.
She worked as the Chief Disruption Officer of BrewDog globally, and was the first CEO of BrewDog USA. Under her leadership, the USA division went from just starting up to becoming one of the largest and fastest growing craft breweries in the US. She built distribution to 15 states and launched the American bar division and opening several tap rooms and the DogHouse Hotel, which was named by Time Magazine as one of the “100 Greatest Places on Earth”. She is fortunate to have the founders of BrewDog as the first investors in W*nder.
Before joining the BrewDog team, Robinson founded several successful companies, including Print Syndicate, a design, technology and marketing company known for lookHUMAN.com, which sold in excess of $40 million worth of products in its first four years and made Notorious R.B.G. a pop-culture icon. Robinson also co-founded TicketFire, a mobile app that allows consumers to use, transfer and sell paper tickets by converting them to a mobile format. She has also successfully built and sold two other companies and burned a few companies to the ground.
Born into a large Mormon family in a small town in Missouri, Robinson served in the US Army as an Arabic linguist and then studied Arabic at The Ohio State University.
She is a featured international speaker on entrepreneurship, conscious capitalism, innovation, disruption and leadership.
